Cancellation Policy

The fees associated with our cancellation policy protect our contract interpreters who have blocked their time for the appointment/s scheduled and for which they must be compensated.

MODE OF CANCELLATION

For the avoidance of doubt and misunderstandings all cancellations must be made by email.

ON SITE, ZOOM & TELEPHONE INTERPRETING (other than Court Attendances)

For appointments booked for up to 3 hours - The full service fee is payable unless the appointment is cancelled by email at least one full business day (24 hours’ notice) prior to the scheduled time and date of the appointment. For appointments booked for more than 3 hours - The full service fee is payable unless the appointment is cancelled by email at least two full business days (48 hours’ notice) prior to the scheduled time and date of the appointment.

ON SITE COURT ATTENDANCES - BOOKED FOR ONE DAY - 48 Hour Cancellation Policy

No fee is payable - where the appointment is cancelled by email 48 hours (two full business days) prior to the hearing. A fee equal to the 75 % of the full day fee is payable if the scheduled hearing date is cancelled at least one full business day (24 hours’ notice) prior to the day of the hearing. The full day fee is payable where the booking is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the hearing.

ON SITE COURT ATTENDANCES - BOOKED FOR TWO OR MORE DAYS - 48 Hour Cancellation Policy

No fee is payable where a booking is cancelled by email two (2) full business days (48 hours) prior to the commencement of appointed hearing date. Where the interpreter is booked for a two day hearing - a fee equivalent to that payable for one full day is payable if the appointment is cancelled by email less than (2) full business days (48 hours) prior to the appointed hearing date. Where the interpreter is booked for three or more days - a fee equivalent to that payable for two full days is payable if the hearing is either cancelled by email less than (2) full business days (48 hours) prior to its commencement or settled during the course of the proceeding.
